A few weeks ago, Dick Eassom, CF APMP Fellow, our Vice President of Corporate Support, also known as Wordman, was interviewed by Ashley Kayes and Baskar Sundaram, for their ScribbleTalk podcast.

In this episode, Ashley and Baskar probed Dick’s early life in United Kingdom, his technical expertise at The Marconi Company, his entry into the proposal industry and his transition to the United States. Dick revealed three things not many people know about him and how he got started with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), including serving on the International Board of Directors, and his work with the APMP California Chapter. He discussed the origin of Wordman and how he ended up writing over 40+ articles for the APMP Perspective and Journal, and delivering over 15 APMP Annual Conference workshops. Dick also provides his advice to bid and proposal professionals, and answers a few fun questions along the way.
