SMA joined experts and decision-makers in the military, industry, and government at the Surface Navy Association’s 32nd National Symposium on January 14–16, 2020 in Crystal City, VA. Discussions focused on how the Surface Force is a critical element of national defense and security in an era of great power competition. Highlights of the event included keynote speeches by ADM Christopher W. Grady, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Northern Command and the Honorable Mark Buzby of the Maritime Administration.
